Kali ini saya menulis perkara yang tidak berkaitan mengenai CCTV Security, tetapi saya ingin bercerita mengenai sindiket penipuan sms, tentu anda tertanya-tanya kenapa saya menyentuh isu ini? ini adalah kerana saya terlalu geram di sebabkan perkara ini terjadi kepada sedara saya yang berada di kampung.

Baru je ia terjadi pagi tadi, saya mendapat tahu hal ini setelah mendapat sms dari emak saya meminta untuk saya telefon segera kerana ada hal yang penting. Oklah pendekkan cerita, sebenarnya ia terjadi kepada salah seorang sepupu perempuan saya, pagi tadi dia mendapat sms dari nombor yang tidak di kenali. SMS nyer begini:
“+002349679797. tahniah anda telah memenangi wang tunai sebanyak RM20000 dan akan di masukkan ke dalam akaun bank anda, sila balas sms ini untuk menuntut wang hadiah anda”

Apa lagi si sepupu saya yang umur tak sampai 20 an melonjak gemira sbb dah menang hadiah yang banyak, dan tanpa sedar sebenarnya dia telah di tipu, lantas dia membalas sms tersebut, dan bermula episod yang membuatkan saya betul2 geram..dan sindiket penipuan sms tersebut. Kronologi sindiket sms:

•        Terima sms pertama untuk menuntut hadiah.

•        Sms di balas oleh sepupu saya bertanya bagaimana untuk menuntut hadiah tersebut

•        dapat panggilan dari sindiket penipuan sms, bertanya kepada sepupu saya adakah ia mempunyai akaun bank untuk pemindahan wang hadiah.

•        Sepupu saya memberitahu yang dia tidak mempunyai akaun bank, dan sindiket tersebut meminta untuk meminjam mana2 akaun maybank ataupun cimb bank dari sedara mara. dengan syarat mempunyai kad ATM.

•        Lantas si sepupu saya meminjam kad ATM ayah saya dengan memintanya dari emak saya dan menjelaskan pada emak saya yang dia telah memenangi hadiah dari CELCOM sebanyak RM 20 ribu (* inilah part yang saya paling geram kerana yang menjadi mangsa ialah akaun maybank AYAH saya.)

•        Dan taktik sindiket yang di gunakan ialah memberitahu bahawa wang hadiah tersebut hanya boleh di tuntut dalam masa setengah jam sahaja.

•        Lantas sedara saya bergegas ke maybank dengan membawa kad atm ayah saya…(*aduh geramnyer…………..).

•        Sampai di bank, sindiket tersebut telah menghubungi sepupu saya untuk mengikut arahan yang di berikan oleh sindiket tersebut.

•        Apa yang di beritahu oleh sepupu saya, sindiket tersebut menyuruh sepupu saya untuk mendaftar maybank2u, memasukkan no telefon, dan memasukkan tac number. (*ini lah bahana bila tidak tahu apa2 mengenai hal2 dan isu berlaku)

•        Dan ingin saya jelaskan, sepupu saya tidak mengetahui apa2 mengenai maybank2u dan juga khidmat yang di berikan oleh khidmat maybank ATM…hanya tahu untuk menyemak baik akaun dan juga mengeluarkan duit dari mesin ATM.

•        Selepas beberapa ketika sindiket tersebut menyuruh sepupu saya untuk menyemak baki akaun, dan sepupu saya terkejut yang baki hanya tinggal RM1, dan memberitahu sindiket penipuan tersebut, dan alasan yang di berikan sindiket tersebut..menyuruh sepupu saya memasukkan wang tambahan Rm1000 untuk menuntut hadiah yang di menenangi.

•        Dan SAAT inilah baru sepupu saya tersedar yang sebenarnya ia telah di tipu oleh sindiket penipuan sms. Yer lah bila dah sindiket minta wang tambahan sebanyak Rm1000, mana nak cari duit sebanyak tu…kalau masih tak bekerja.

•        Dan lepas tu sepupu saya balik rumah..bagitau family yang dia sebenarnya telah ditipu

Kerugian yang telah di alami oleh ayah saya ialah RM570, yang memang ia nampak sedikit, tetapi itulah…..nasib baik saya belum lagi transfer duit kat ayah saya hari ini, dan nasib juga baik kerana beberapa bulan yang lepas ayah saya telah mengeluarkan duit dari akaun sebanyak RM 11 ribu.

Sebenarnya apa yang saya nak sampaikan di sini ialah, sekiranya anda mempunyai saudara mari di kampung, yang betul2 berada di kampung dan tidak tahu apa2 tentang isu2 sindiket penipuan, beritahu lah mereka tentang sindiket penipuan sms ini dan bagaimanakah mereka mengambil duit dari akaun anda…jangan biarkan rakan2 dan juga saudara mara anda di kampung menjadi MANGSA sindiket PENIPUAN SMS…

apa yang saya boleh simpulkan di sini, memang terlalu mudah orang2 kampung yang tidak tahu mengenai perkembangan semasa dan begitu mudah di tipu, cuba anda bayangkan orang kampung bila ada orang telefon ckp dapat hadiah sebanyak RM 20 ribu atau 50 ribu…saper yang tak exicited kan?..

so ayuhlah rakan2 ku semua sebarkan berita ini dan sampaikan kepada saudara mara di kampung supaya jangan terkena dengan sindiket penipuan ini, kalau sebelum ini saya hanya membaca berita mengenai sindiket penipuan sms ini…dan rasa alangkah bodohnya orang yang kena tu, tapi bila dah saudara saya sendiri yang kena…baru lah saya tahu, “sebenarnya tidak ramai orang yang sedar dan tahu mengenai sindiket penipuan ini”…..janglah biarkan saudara mara anda kena dengan sindiket ini….sebar2 kanlah berita ini, dan anda boleh copy tulisan ini dengan meletakkan link asal saya

Satu lagi sebelum terlupa, sebenarnya saya cukup marah kepada sepupu saya tersebut, kerana begitu mudah dia di tipu…dan yang membuatkan saya marah..ialah dia call saya bila benda nih dah terjadi..dan tak tahu macam mana nak selesaikan masalah ini….saya tanya kepada dia naper tak call saya sebelum benda ni berlaku, dan kenapa tak tanya saya dulu… di sini saya bukannya nak beritahu yang saya tahu segala2nya mengenai perkembangan semasa…tetapi…janganlah dah terjadi baru nak beritahu saya….sekarang nih sedih,….bercampur marah dan GERAM..tapi saya masih lagi cool..(heheheheh)…saya pun suruh la spupu saya gi buat report polis dan sambil2 tu saya call maybank tanya berkenaan cara untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini

Ok di sini saya ingin memberitahu macam mana nak buat setelah anda atau sedara mara anda terkena dengan sindiket penipuan sms ini:

•        cepat2 pergi buat report polis.

•        pergi maybank serahkan bukti report polis dan beritahu anda telah terkena tipu dengan sindiket sms.

•        Bank akan membatalkan kad ATM anda dan dengan automatik maybank2u anda pun akan di batalkan.

•        Akaun anda masih lagi boleh di gunakan tapi kena buat kad ATM baru.

•        Dan langkah2 di atas2 adalah amat penting kerana sekiranya akaun tersebut di gunakan untuk menerima wang pencen…nanti tiap2 bulan duit anda lesap..kalau anda tak report perkara ini.

So baru sejam lepas aku call no tu,dia cakap kena ada baki akaun RM1000 dalam akaun,so aku pun dah pkir nak masukkan semua duit dalam akaun lain dalam akaun bank CIMB aku..Pastu bila dah masuk dia suruh call dia..Aku pun takutla kena tipu,so aku cakap aku dah ada baki akaun RM1000 dlm akaun,dia suruh pegi dekat mesin ATM..pastu tekan smthing…So bile dia tanye ape yg tertulis kat skrin,terkantoila aku cuz aku memang takde kt depn mesin ATM pun..pastu aku tanye betul ke dr petronas?dia cakap dia memang dari PEtronas tgkat 3..pastu aku tanye lagi,apsal cakap macam indonesia?dia cakap dia dari sarawak..pstu bile aku tanye name..dia terus letak phone..

Nasib baik…aku surf kat internet kalu tak terkena la jawabnya. Baru sebentar tadi aku dapat msg Bonus Cek bertuah RM 15,000.00 dari Petronas. Kemudian suruh dail 006281384347777 untuk tuntut hadiah. Bila aku call, mamat tu cakap call la besuk… tapi suara dia pelik juga macam slang indon… so aku pun surf internet…

Makanan Keluaran Apollo HARAM dimakan?

Kepada semua pengguna2 Muslim,

Saya ingin menasihati anda semua supaya berhenti membeli semua keluaran Apollo Food Industries terutamanya ibubapa yang selalu membeli makanan seumpama layer cake, choco stick dan sebagainya yang selalu keluar iklan di TV . Kejadian ini berlaku kepada saya sendiri.

Saya selalu juga membeli apollo layer cake dlm kuantiti yg banyak untuk anak2 saya sebagai makanan ringan. Anak2 juga selalu mendapat product Apollo setiap kali ada majlis harijadi disekolah (goodie bag yg disediakan oleh parents kepada birthday girl/boy tersebut).

Selama ini saya ingatkan product Apollo ni HALAL sebab keluar kat TV..kalau tak halal, takkan TV boleh lepas ye tak?

Nak jadikan cerita, suatu hari, saya membeli APOLLO CHOCOLATE LAYER CAKE yg plastik pembungkusnya berwarna kuning . Anak2 sempat makan sorang satu.

Entahlah, sudah menjadi tabiat saya, suka membaca ingredient yg tertera pada pembungkus makanan, hatta ubat gigi, syampoo dan sebagainya, saya juga suka membaca. Mungkin saya mengambil langkah berjaga2 agaknya.

Tetiba saya terpana bila apa yg saya takuti akhirnya terjadi kepada saya & keluarga sendiri... APOLLO layer cake yg saya beli mengandungi Emulsifier 471, yg kita sudah maklum, mengandungi unsur babi.. Astaghfirullah... Astaghfirullah... Astaghfirullah.. banyak kali saya beristighfar, kerana anak2 saya sudah memakan cake tersebut.

Saya terus memberitahu mereka supaya jgn lagi memakan APOLLO... APOLLO HARAM DIMAKAN !

Saya sertakan SCAN FILE pembungkus APOLLO yg saya maksudkan... Maaflah kerana Black & White kerana saya x ada scanner kaler.

Saya harap kawan2 sume tolong sebarkan kepada jiran2, kawan2 seagama supaya memesan kepada anak2 kita, jgn lagi memakan product apollo ini.. Bukan saja Apollo Chocolate layer cake, tapi kita patut BANNED semua product keluaran APOLLO kerana semua productnya dikilangkan dikilang yg sama, mesin yg sama, bercampur yg halal dan haram...

Yang buat saya paling sedih, Ada logo HALAL pada plastik pembungkus APOLLO tersebut...

Boleh pihak jakim berikan pengesahan samada product tersebut benar2 tidak halal digunakan oleh org islam..

Jawapan: Kedua-dua produk dove dan pringles tidak pernah mendapat pengesahan halal JAKIM kerana kedua-duanya adalah barangan import walau bagaimana pun tindakan akan diambil untuk memastikan hal sebenar perkara ini.

2. Banyak masakan pada hari ini menggunakan gelatin. Apakah gelatin halal?

Gelatin adalah bahan yang diperbuat sama ada dari khinzir atau lembu, gelatin yang berasaskan lembu disebut sebagai beef bovine, persoalannya ialah sama ada lembu tersebut disembelih mengikut syarak atau tidak adalah menjadi persoalan utama dalam menentukan kehalalan pengeluaran gelatin. Di Malaysia, JAKIM hanya menerima gelatin yang dibekalkan oleh Sya. HalalGel dan Hagecaps sahaja kerana kedua-dua syarikat ini mendapatkan sumber gelatin lembu yang disembelih mengikut syarak.

Coffee Bean telah mendapat pengesahan halal JAKIM dan telah dipastikan semua bahan yang digunakan adalah halal tetapi Starbuck memang tidak pernah memohon pengesahan halal JAKIM, maka tidak dapat dipastikan kehalalan bahan/produk di tempat tersebut.

Saya ada menerima beberapa email yg menyatakan bahawa untuk membuat sausage ayam, daging dan fish ball supaya kental dan licin ianya telah dicampurkan dengan minyak babi. Apakah penyataan ini benar dan adakah product Ramli Burger dan Ayamas boleh dipercayai? Bagaimanapula dengan fish ball?
pernyataan mencampurkan minyak babi untuk pembuatan sausage ayam, fish ball dan lain-lain adalah tidak benar bagi produk terbabit yang telah mendapat pengesahan halal JAKIM. Bagi produk Ramli Burger dan Ayamas, memang telah mendapat pengesahan halal JAKIM dan kedua-dua syarikat ini sentiasa mematuhi peraturan halal JAKIM.

Adakah produk yang menggunakan logo halal negeri sah digunakan?(seperti produk makanan ringan jenama APOLLO).Saya berasa ragu-ragu kerana setahu saya produk makanan halal akan menggunakan logo halal dari JAKIM, bukan dari Jabatan Agama Negeri.

Pihak yang diberi tanggungjawab untuk mengeluarkan sijil pengesahan halal di Malaysia ialah JAKIM dan setiap Jabatan Agama Islam Negeri. Dengan itu mana-mana produk yang menggunakan logo halal negeri adalah halal dan standard yang digunakan oleh JAIN untuk pengesahan halal adalah sama dengan standard yang digunakan oleh JAKIM.

Tuan, saya sering menerima email yang menyatakan bahawa "These Emulsiers are HARAM , 120, 141, 160(A), 161, 252 300, 301,
422, 430, 431, 433, 435, 436, 441, 470, 471, 472 (A.E), 474, 475, 476, 477, 481, 482, 483, 491, 492, 494 , 542, 570, 572, 635, 920, RENNET IN CHEESE OF ANIMAL ORIGIN IS HARAM TOO UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED." Adakah ini benar? Banyak makanan yang dijual di supermarket mengandungi bahan-bahan di atas.

Satu lagi, terdapat banyak pinggan mangkuk jenis bone china dijual di Malaysia, bolehkah orang Islam menggunakannya, sebab setahu saya pinggan mangkuk jenis ini mengandungi tulang binatang dan jkalau ianya barangan import, adakah tulang yg digunakan datang daripada binatang yang halal?

Harap pihak tuan dapat menjelaskan perkara di atas.

assalamualaikum, untuk makluman, bagi bahan makanan/perasa/emulsifier yang bertanda e-coded seperti E 471, E 122 dan lain-lain adalah berkemungkinan ianya haram atau halal dengan merujuk terlebih dahulu kepada sumber yang digunakan dalam penghasilan bahan-bahan tersebut. Merujuk kepada E 471 (bahan emulsifier makanan), ia mempunyai 2 kemungkinan iaitu boleh diperbuat dari bahan yang halal atau haram. Oleh sebab itu bagi sesetengah makanan yang diperbuat di Malaysia, yang telah disahkan halal oleh JAKIM tetapi terdapat penggunaan E471, diharap para pengguna tidak panik kerana JAKIM telah memastikan bahawa bahan tersebut adalah bersumberkan kepada bahan yang halal. Emulsifier 471 boleh diperbuat dari sumber lemak haiwan dan sumber lemak tumbuhan, bagi produk import atau luar negara, pengguna Muslim perlulah berhati-hati kerana tidak ada pengesahan yang dapat dibuat bagi menentukan kehalalan bahan tersebut, tetapi selagi produk itu diperbuat di Malaysia dan telah mendapat pengesahan halal JAKIM, insya-allah produk/bahan tersebut telah dikenal pasti dari sumber yang halal walau pun menggunakan kod yang sama dengan bahan yang dikhuatiri haram.

Assalamualaikum.
Baru-baru ini saya dan rakan-rakan menerima e-mel menyenaraikan bahan-bahan yang dikatakan haram digunakan di dalam makanan terutamanya makanan ringan. Antara bahan-bahannya ialah bahn E-110 dan siri-siri E yang lain. Saya ke pasaraya baru-baru ini dan membelek makanan ringan "Super Ring" keluaran Oriental Food Industries. Bungkusan makanan ringan tersebut mempunyai logo HALAL tetapi di isi kandungan makanan ringan tersebut tertera E-110. Apakah makan ini benar-benar halal? Syarikat yang mengeluarkan makan ini juga tidak tersenarai di dalam nama-nama syarikat yang mendapat sijil hahal dari JAKIM. Diharapkan pihak tuan dapat menyelidik masalah ini bagi mengelakkan lebih ramai orang yang akan terpedaya. Sekian, terima kasih.
E110 adalah kod untuk bahan pewarna makanan untuk warna kuning ( colouring - sunset yellow, orange yellow,yellow 6), ia boleh memberi kesan allergi bagi yang sensitif dengan bahan tersebut. Untuk makluman, sistem E-Coded digunakan sebagai satu sistem antarabangsa untuk food addittive ( bahan tambahan untuk makanan - sama ada ianya adalah bahan perasa, bahan pewarna atau bahan awet) Sebahagian besar food additive ini ada yang bersifat bahan natural seperti garam dan gula, ada dihasilkan dari bahan kimia seperti bahan awetan (sodium benzoate - E211), ada yang dihasilkan dari bahagian tumbuhan dan haiwan ( E471- Mono - and diglycerides of fatty acids, glycerel monostearate, glyceryl distearate - bahan emulsifier, penstabil makanan - boleh dihasilkan sama ada dari lemak haiwan atau pun lemak tumbuhan). Sebenarnya terdapat beratus-ratus bahan tambahan makanan yang menggunakan E- coded dalam industri penghasilan produk makanan. Apabila sesuatu produk/ syarikat yang telah mendapat pengesahan halal JAKIM tetapi tertera mana-mana E-coded pada pembungkusan produk itu bermakna pihak JAKIM telah mengenalpasti bahawa bahan yang digunakan itu adalah bukan dari bahan yang haram, contohnya E471, JAKIM telah mengenal pasti bahawa emulsifier yang digunakan itu adalah berasal dari tumbuhan ( soya atau kelapa sawit ). Selagi produk tersebut adalah produk tempatan dan mendapat pengesahan halal JAKIM, insya-allah bahan yang digunakan itu telah benar-benar dikenal pasti kehalalannya tetapi sekiranya berada di luar negara atau produk import maka perlulah berhati-hati kerana JAKIM tidak membuat pemeriksaan ke atas bahan-bahan yang digunakan itu. Boleh jadi ianya adalah dari bahan yang haram atau syubhah.

May I Borrow RM 25?

A woman came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find her 5-year old son waiting for her at the door.

SON: 'Mummy, may I ask you a question?'
MUM: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the woman.

SON: 'Mummy, how much do you make an hour?'

MUM: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the woman said angrily.

SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'

MUM: 'If you must know, I make RM 50 an hour.'

SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head d own .

SON: 'Mummy, may I please borrow RM 25?'

The mother was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The woman sat d own and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the woman had calmed d own , and started to think:

Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that RM 25 and he really didn't ask for money very often . The woman went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

'Are you asleep, son?' She asked.

'No Mummy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.

'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the woman. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the RM 25 you asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you Mummy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The woman saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his mother.

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the mother grumbled.

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.

The mother was crushed. She put his arms around her little son, and she begged for his forgiveness.

Rice is the culprit!

No wonder diabetes patients are avoiding to take rice.

Eat Less Rice!
The human body was never meant to consume rice! You see,
our genes have hardly changed in more than 30,000 years.
However, our food choices and lifestyle have changed
dramatically. The caveman would hardly recognise our food or
way of life.

Caveman food was never cooked as fire was not yet tamed.
Thus, he ate only those foods that you can eat without
treatment with or by fire. He ate fruits, vegetables, fish
(sushi anyone?), eggs, nuts and meat. Yes, even meat. You
can even eat meat raw if you were starving in the forest.
You have the necessary enzymes to digest meat.
However, rice, like wheat and corn, cannot be eaten raw. It
must be cooked. Even if you were starving in the desert, you
cannot eat rice in the raw form. This is because we do not
have the system of enzymes to break rice down. You were
never meant to eat rice. To make matters worse, you not only
eat rice, but also make it the bulk of your food.

In some parts of Asia, rice forms up to 85% of the plate.
Even if you take rice, keep it to a minimum. Remember, it is
only for your tongue - not your body. Actually, rice and
other grains like wheat and corn are actually worse than
sugar. There are many reasons:

Rice becomes sugar - lots of it!

This is a fact that no nutritionist can deny: rice is
chemically no different from sugar. One bowl of cooked rice
is the caloric equal of 10 teaspoons of sugar. This does not
matter whether it is white, brown or herbal rice. Brown rice
is richer in fibre, some B vitamins and minerals but it is
still the caloric equal of 10 teaspoons of sugar. To get the
same 10 teaspoons of sugar, you need to consume lots of
kangkong-10 bowls of it.

Rice is digested to become sugar.

Rice cannot be digested before it is thoroughly cooked.
However, when thoroughly cooked, it becomes sugar and spikes
circulating blood sugar within half an hour-almost as
quickly as it would if you took a sugar candy. Rice is very
low in the 'rainbow of anti-oxidants. '

This complete anti-oxidant rainbow is necessary for the
effective and safe utilisation of sugar. Fruits come with a
sugar called fructose. However, they are not empty calories
as the fruit is packed with a whole host of other nutrients
that help its proper assimilation and digestion.

Rice has no fibre. The fibre of the kangkong fills you up
long before your blood sugar spikes. This is because the
fibre bulks and fills up your stomach. Since white rice has
no fibre, you end up eating lots of 'calorie dense'
food before you get filled up. Brown rice has more fibre but
still the same amount of sugar.

Rice is tasteless-sugar is sweet. There is only so much
that you can eat at one sitting. How many teaspoons of sugar
can you eat before you feel like throwing up? Could you
imagine eating 10 teaspoons of sugar in one seating?

Rice is always the main part of the meal. While sugar may
fill your dessert or sweeten your coffee, it will never be
the main part of any meal. You could eat maybe two to three
teaspoons of sugar at one meal. However, you could easily
eat the equal value of two to three bowls (20-30 teaspoons)
of sugar in one meal. I am always amused when I see someone
eat sometimes five bowls of rice (equals 50 teaspoons of
sugar) and then asks for tea tarik kurang manis!

There is no real 'built in' mechanism for us to
prevent overeating of rice:

How much kangkong can you eat?
How much fried chicken can you eat?
How much steamed fish can you eat?
Think about that!

In one seating, you cannot take lots of chicken, fish or
cucumber, but you can take lots of rice. Eating rice causes
you to eat more salt.

As rice is tasteless, you tend to consume more salt-another
villain when it comes to high blood pressure. You tend to
take more curry that has salt to help flavor rice. We also
tend to consume more ketchup and soy sauce which are also
rich in salt.

Eating rice causes you to drink less water. The more rice
you eat, the less water you will drink as there is no
mechanism to prevent the overeating of rice. Rice, wheat and
corn come hidden in our daily food. As rice is tasteless, it
tends to end up in other foods that substitute rice like
rice flour, noodles and bread. We tend to eat the hidden
forms which still get digested into sugar. Rice, even when
cooked, is difficult to digest.

Can't eat raw rice? Try eating rice half cooked.
Contrary to popular belief, rice is very difficult to
digest. It is 'heavy stuff'. If you have problems
with digestion, try skipping rice for a few days. You will
be amazed at how the problem will just go away.

Rice prevents the absorption of several vitamins and
minerals. Rice when taken in bulk will reduce the absorption
of vital nutrients like zinc, iron and the B vitamins.

Are you a rice addict? Going rice-less may not be easy but
you can go rice-less. Eating less rice could be lot easier
than you think. Here are some strategies that you can pursue
in your quest to eat less rice:

Eat less rice-cut your rice by half. Barry Sears, author of
the Zone Diet, advises 'eating rice like spice'.

Instead, increase your fruits and vegetables.
Take more lean meats and fish.
You can even take more eggs and nuts.

Have 'riceless' meals. Take no rice or wheat at
say, breakfast. Go for eggs instead.

Go on 'riceless' days-Go 'western' once a
week.

Take no rice and breads for one day every week. That
can't be too difficult. Appreciate the richness of your
food. Go for taste, colours and smells. Make eating a
culinary delight. Enjoy your food in the original flavours.

Avoid the salt shaker or ketchup. You will automatically
eat less rice.

Eat your fruit dessert before (Yes! No printing error)
your meals.
The fibre rich fruits will 'bulk up' in your
stomach. Thus, you will eat less rice and more fruits.
It's your life. Decide what you want to eat!

History

When cancer strikes a family, what course of action should one take?  Dr. Tateishi Kazu's father and brother both died of cancer.  And then he found himself suffering from cancer of the duodenum and spreading.  His stomach was removed, but the cancer cells had spread to his lungs.  He resolved to fight for his life. Vegetable Soup Recipe - (2 day's quantity)

Ingredients: -

•      16 ounces white daikon

•      8-10 ounces white daikon greens

•      8-10 ounces carrot

•      8 ounces burdock root (called Gobo in Japanese, Uang in Korean, Ngao pong or Niu pang in Chinese)

•      3-5 fresh shitake mushrooms (sundried) - if not sundried, expose dried mushrooms to sun again.

Directions: -

1. Don't peel anything! Don't add any seasoning!

2. Fill a pot with three times the quantity of water as the vegetable.  When it comes to a boil, reduce the flame and simmer for two hours. Strain and drink.

Brown Rice Tea Recipe

Another remedy that can be used in conjunction with the vegetable soup is brown rice tea.  It is a good diuretic for ridding excess water from the body.  For diabetics, it can bring the sugar level down by producing more natural insulin in the body.  It cleanses the blood and blood vessel.  A person with a heart condition drinking both soups in 20 days will be able to regulate their problem by drinking three cups per day.  For a regular cancer patient, about two cups.

1.- 1 cup brown rice

2. 16 cups water

Note: only cook in stainless steel or glass. Do not mix with any other ingredients. Don't be "creative."

Directions: -

1. Roast the rice without oil until dark brown but don't burn.  Boil 8 cups of water and pour roasted rice into water.  Turn off flame, cover and let sit five minutes.  Strain out rice and reserve liquid.

2. Boil 8 more cups of water.  Put the remaining rice back in the water.  Cover, lower flame and simmer five minutes.  Strain rice out.  Mix the two rice waters together.

Special Notes: -

•      The amount one needs depend on the condition.  The more serious the condition, the more tea.

•      Do not drink tea while taking a high protein substance.

•      Don't drink the vegetable soup and brown rice tea together. Wait at least 15 minutes apart.

•      If you use this remedy regularly you will never be sick.

Some possible reactions: -

•      itchy skin or eczema

•      If you use medications and/or have eczema, use less because of stronger reaction

•      People with head injury problems may develop headaches but don't worry.

•      People with eye problems may get temporary blurred vision or itching around eyes. Eyesight will get better.  If you wear prescription glasses, try to reduce the prescription and use glasses less frequently.

•      Lowering of body temperature, but this is normal.

Notes:  For high blood pressure, drink the two soups alternately but slowly.  Blood pressure will come down after one month.  Talk to a doctor about reducing medication, but don't stop medication right away. Use remedy for minimum of one month.

A2 : Depending on individual bodies, some people using the Vegetable Soup could have side effects/reactions. Reactions are classified in 2 categories: -

•      (5) drinking the Vegetable Soup and the Brown Rice solution together or in the same time.  People are reporting serious reactions when taking those two solutions in the same time.  Must drink them separately with half-hour or one hour apart.

Q3: How much vegetable soup can one consume a day?

A3: For:

•      Diabetes take 600 cc of Brown rice (BR) solution in the morning and 400 cc of Vegetable Soup (VS) in the afternoon.

•      Heart problem: 300 cc of BR and 600 cc of VS

•      Gall stones: 600 cc of BR and 600 cc of VS.

•      Other diseases: About 600 cc (2.5 cups) of VS a day divided in 3 rations before meals.

IMPORTANT NOTE

DO NOT DRINK Vegetable Soup and Brown Rice Solution in the same time.  The interval needed between consumption of BR and VS must be at least 30 minutes or 1 hour apart to be safe.

 

Burdock

This herb gets its name from bur, for its tenacious burrs, and dock old English for plant.  Many scientists are skeptical about Burdock and its uses.  However, as a healing herb it has a potential for treating cancer.  Early Chinese physicians, as well as Ayurvedic healers, used Burdock as a remedy for colds, flu, throat infections and pneumonia.  During the 14th Century, its leaves were pounded in wine and used to treat leprosy.  From 1930-1950, Burdock was used as an ingredient in alternative cancer treatments.

The FDA noted that too much of this herb can cause side effects and lists Burdock as an herb of "undefined safety".  However, German researchers have discovered fresh Burdock root contains polyacetylenes, a chemical that kills disease-causing bacteria and fungi.  It also reduces mucus and prevents formation of gall and kidney stones.  As Burdock contains vitamin A and selenium, it can eliminate free radicals.

Its chromium content helps regulate blood sugar levels.  Other qualities of this herb, set forth in the magazine Chemotherapy, identified a chemical (arctigenin) in Burdock which acts as an inhibitor of tumor growth.

History

Burdock is also known by the names Bardane, Clotburr, Beggars Buttons, Gypsy Rhubarb, Gobo, and Burr.  In traditional herbal texts, Burdock Root is described as a "blood purifier" or "alterative", and was believed to clear the bloodstream of toxins.

Medicinally, Burdock Root has been used both internally and externally for eczema and psoriasis, as well as to treat painful joints and as a diuretic.

In traditional Chinese medicine, Burdock Root, in combination with other herbs, is used to treat sore throats, tonsillitis, colds, and even measles.

It is eaten as a vegetable in Japan and elsewhere.  Burdock is a mild laxative.  It also aids in the elimination of uric acid.  The herb contains polyacetylenes that have both anti-bacterial & anti-fungal properties.  By improving the function of many organs of elimination (liver, kidneys, bowels), many health conditions can be improved.

Burdock Root contains high amounts of inulin and mucilage.  This may explain its soothing effects on the gastrointestinal tract.  Bitter constituents in the root may also explain the traditional use of Burdock to improve digestion.  The polyacetylene constituents have also been shown to have anti-microbial activity.  Burdock Root (and the fruit) also has the ability to mildly lower blood sugar (hypoglycemic effect).

Medicinal Action and Uses

Alterative, diuretic and diaphoretic.  One of the best blood purifiers.  In all skin diseases, it is a certain remedy and has effected a cure in many cases of eczema, either taken alone or combined with other remedies, such as Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla.

The root is principally employed, but the leaves and seeds are equally valuable. Both root and seeds may be taken as a decoction of 1 OZ. to 1 1/2 pint of water, boiled down to a pint, in doses of a wineglassful, three or four times a day.

The anti-scorbutic properties of the root make the decoction very useful for boils, scurvy and rheumatic affections, and by many it is considered superior to Sarsaparilla, on account of its mucilaginous, demulcent nature; it has in addition been recommended for external use as a wash for ulcers and scaly skin disorders.

An infusion of the leaves is useful to impart strength and tone to the stomach, for some forms of long-standing indigestion.

When applied externally as a poultice, the leaves are highly resolvent for tumours and gouty swellings, and relieve bruises and inflamed surfaces generally.  The bruised leaves have been applied by the peasantry in many countries as cataplasms to the feet and as a remedy for hysterical disorders.

From the seeds, both a medicinal tincture and a fluid extract are prepared, of benefit in chronic skin diseases.  Americans use the seeds only, considering them more efficacious and prompt in their action than the other parts of the plant.  They are relaxant and demulcent, with a limited amount of tonic property.  Their influence upon the skin is due largely to their being of such an oily nature: they affect both the sebaceous and sudoriferous glands, and probably owing to their oily nature restore that smoothness to the skin which is a sign of normal healthy action.

The infusion or decoction of the seeds is employed in dropsical complaints, more especially in cases where there is co-existing derangement of the nervous system, and is considered by many to be a specific for all affections of the kidneys, for which it may with advantage be taken several times a day, before meals.

Treats certain cancers, prevents diabetes

Burdock's name is a combination of bur, for its spiked seed covers - burrs - that grab onto anything that touches them, and dock, Old English for "plant."  Many scientists dismiss burdock as useless, but like its seeds, its reputation as an herbal healing agent clings tenaciously because of its subtle tonic benefits and its intriguing potential as a treatment for cancer.

Throughout history, burdock has been recommended for an astonishing number of illnesses. Ancient Chinese physicians used it to treat colds, coughs, tonsillitis, measles, skin infections and snakebite.  Traditional European and American herbalists and homeopaths prescribed it for colds, arthritis, gout, stomach problems, fever, canker sores, leprosy, boils, gonorrhea, ringworm and infertility.  They also considered it an excellent diuretic, and prescribed it for urinary tract infections, kidney problems and painful urination.

True, burdock is not powerfully therapeutic.  But Daniel B. Mowrey, PhD, director of the American Phytotherapy Research Laboratory in Salt Lake City, Utah, and author of The Scientific Validation of Herbal Medicine, insists that it deserves its enduring place in herbal healing because of its value as a tonic - a subtle strengthener with cumulatively helpful effects.

"Burdock's action is mild, but real," Dr. Mowrey explains.  "It has antibacterial and antiviral powers, and it reduces blood sugar, which helps prevent diabetes. I recommend using a little every day.  And when you're ill, use it in addition to standard therapies."
